Showcase Games
Riot, Underground, ECU, and Sockeye all played in showcase games on August 29th to raise money for the Fryz for tournament travel expenses. The games were amazing, and we would like to thank all the teams again for helping us raise money. It was really fun to watch them play, and very beneficial for the team. Thank you!

Fryz Takes Second at Spawnfest
The team went up to Burlington Saturday morning and started off the tournament with a tight win, 14-13, against Uncle Oosik, from Anchorage Alaska. For the next two games Fryz was ahead at half time but ended up losing 11-15 and 11-13. Although disappointed by our 2 losses, we ended the day with a strong 15-8 win against Olympia, putting us in the quarterfinals.

On Sunday we won our first 2 games against Bellingham (11-9) and Scotchoberfest (14-11) putting us in the finals. In the finals we started off with a strong 4-1 lead; but after half time our play dropped off and we ended up losing the game 9-15.

This is the best that Fryz has ever done at Spawnfest, and we can’t wait to go back next year!
